[question] double build directory

then i'm execute conan install . --output-folder=build -c tools.system.package_manager:mode=install -c tools.system.package_manager:sudo=True --build=missing after installing i have such situation: build directory have another build directory. Is it ok and how to fix it if it's not?

Maybe doc is quite incorrect and i should do

cmake .. -DCMAKE_TOOLCHAIN_FILE=build/Release/generators/conan_toolchain.cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release

instead of

cmake .. -DCMAKE_TOOLCHAIN_FILE=conan_toolchain.cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release

yes, this is unnecessary, you can safely drop this when you are using cmake_layout() in the recipe.
Probably we are missing details, please provide a minimal but fully reproducible example so we can check it. Many thanks!

Well my project is quite minimal: https://github.com/anotherdoesnm/projectdb (porting from QMake to CMake + Conan), the deps are just Qt and OpenXLSX

problem with double build fixed, through according to doc i should call cd build && cmake .. -DCMAKE_TOOLCHAIN_FILE=conan_toolchain.cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release and it gives

  Could not find toolchain file:

   "conan_toolchain.cmake"

with cmake .. -DCMAKE_TOOLCHAIN_FILE=build/Release/generators/conan_toolchain.cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release it can't find OpenXLSX (not CMakeLists issue since i can build project without conan)
