Major compatibility issue with BSD/OS 4.3

Attempting to boot BSD/OS 4.3 works, until the kernel tries to run the pid 0 init process. It fails with the following error indefinitely: "Process (pid 1) got signal 11", memory segmentation violation.

Another issue that occurs, but is not fatal, is this with serial: "Found com0 at isa0: serial port warning: unable to measure multiplier"

Interestingly enough, BSD/OS 3.0 is far more unstable.

Could you provide (a link to) the disk images? Also could you test that they work in qemu?

Sure. One moment, I downloaded them quite a while ago. I managed to install them on UTM, QEMU, and nearly real hardware.
