[Bug?] Force icon buttons in panel causes issue with notification applet

I'm not sure, if it's really caused by it.
The notifications applet doesn't show up in the panel. If I disable "Force icon buttons in panel" and re-login, it shows up. If I restart, it's gone again though. To fix it I need to enable "Force icon buttons in panel" again and the rest is the same as described before.
