Make input background color consistent

Currently some text input fields have a light gray background, other text fields (like CKEditor and the table field) have a white background, while others (like the link field) have a transparent background. This looks a little jarring.

I think adopting the same background color all for all these fields would make sense and contribute to a more consistent look:

Just made several improvements to editable tables, Link fields, and select inputs (b7ab52f), as well as CKEditor fields (craftcms/ckeditor@a8a8be6) for the next releases.

Oh, don't hate me 🙂, but while we are at this: When an editable table does not have a thead the first row bleeds out of the top corners, cutting off the border:

Good catch, fixed the button padding issue.

Not able to reproduce the table issue though. Where are you seeing that?

I have been seeing the table issue for some time now, it's not new. It's really small though. I'm seeing it in any table field that has no column headings. If you can't reproduce I can check again tomorrow to see if there's some additional condition. Maybe the browser zoom or display scaling? I'm seeing it on Windows Chrome FWIW.

Doh, was able to reproduce on Chrome as well, but not in Firefox. Just fixed for the next Craft 4 and 5 releases. (5d1cf22)
