Email books to koreader

Hi there!

Thank you for this app, it works like a charm.

I have a question. I own a kindle with Koreader on it. Is there a way to send books via email to koreader? I don't want them to be sent to the stock OS. I know that there is an addon Mailpush but it is not compatible with my firmware.

As I know can KOReader use the OPDS feed (under http(s)://DOMAIN OR IP:PORT/opds) to list and download books.

Thank you for your answer. I know about the opds feed, the problem is that it only works for me under my LAN. I asked about the email to get the books when I'm not at home.

As far as I know, and after a quick search, there is no email client in KOReader.
It does have a Dropbox client you can use, you'd have to put the files in Dropbox somehow. Paid plans can receive files via email.

Other alternatives I can think of:

• Expose your CWA server to the internet using a tunnel (e.g. cloudflared tunnel) and use the OPDS feed. There is some security risk involved.
• Install Tailscale in your Kindle and in your server, and use the OPDS. Safer option, needs more setup.

I'll have a look at the Tailscale option, I already use it for other purposes. Have you tried the kindle version?

I took a look at the tailscale alternative, I think I won't be able to use it since I can't install the usbnetworking hack on my kindle. I think I'll give a dropbox version a try.

Do you happen know if I can turn on and off the cloudflare tunnel?
