Is there no way to import an existing (non-calibre) library?

I am trying to migrate from Readarr to CWA. I have all my books organized in a directory structure with folders for each author. Am I right that CWA cannot scan the directories and import books that way? It is going to be a headache to have to copy every ebook file from every directory into the CWA ingest folder.
