Sort title & search for isbn in meta

Hi

i don‘t have found any Information for this and hope you can help me.

Can I set the sort title without use the calibre Container? I use series, and without sort title I habe a mess in my sorting.

And is it possible to search for isbn in meta search? I have try direct isbn or isbn:number but the first Result is not the searched isbn
