Summary

The android app recognizes the Nextcloud synced vaults and unlocks them, but does not show any files

What software is involved?

  • Operating System: Divestos
  • Device: Pixel 3a (unlocked bootloader)
  • Cryptomator: 1.10.0

Volume Type

None

Steps to Reproduce

I use cryptomator to encrypt files I syncronize with Nextcloud. The files, however, are synced to my mobile device with the Nextcloud app and not with the WebDAV protocol. On the side of my computer, everything works fine, however on android, cryptomator won't show any files and issues a generalized error message instead. I previously made running cryptomator on the same device with Divestos, so I don't expect the technical setup to be the problem. I also tried variable downloads (f-droid and direct download from the official cryptomator site), without success.

Expected Behavior

cryptomator shows the files of the respective synced vaults

Actual Behavior

cryptomator won't show any files from any vault and issues instead a general error message.

Reproducibility

Always
