Strange Xcode incompatibility error

I've tried installing on a couple of different machines, and the Cmake build reports:

CMake Error:
  Xcode 1.5 not supported.


CMake Error: Could not create named generator Xcode

I'm on macos 10.15 with Xcode 11.5.

Not sure what version 1.5 would refer to for Xcode.

I got passed this error.
