`cy.request('GET', '/')` no longer necessary in Cypress 14

This was a workaround for a currently unknown issue, and is no longer necessary with Cy 14 Prerelease. These lines cause the tests to fail, now.

The workaround is still in place, for instance:

Tests are however passing, and the repo has been migrated to Cypress 14 and then Cypress 15 already.

It sounds like a clean-up task would be useful?!
