Firefox addon doesnt show entries

Hello,

The firefox addon stopped working for me. It shows the following,

If i go to a website the autofill still works, so i guess it is loaded into memory however it doesnt show anything. The same behaviour is also on chrome.

The standalone client (on linux) work fine though and so does the android client.

Any idea what could be the issue.

Debugger shows the following,

Unhandled error in angular CryptoError: The cipher's MAC doesn't match the expected value

Downgrading to 2025.7.1 makes the problem go away but shows the following,

[Encrypt service] decryptToUtf8 MAC comparison failed. Key or payload has changed. Key type AesCbc256_HmacSha256_B64 Payload type AesCbc256_HmacSha256_B64 Decrypt context: no context

Looks like you are not using an encrypted connection.
The client seems to need this.

Or some cipher got broken in some way.
Any item with non utf8 contents.

Wonder if you are missing an item if you scroll through them.

I dont see any missing entries. However, on the mobile i see folder with no names and with items in them.

I am wondering whether an export of the database and re-import can fix this. Dont know if it can be done in lossless fashion.

If you see an entry with no name, then that is probably the culprit. Check if you can open it or not.

You could try an export, but i doubt that will do anything, is it will then export what you see now.

This is what i have. I emptied out some of the folder and now they show 0 entries. How do i delete the empty folders?

chrome and edge are the same
