The chart of accounts is creating incorrect accounts

When creating an transaction or something the godbledger web software is making new and incorrect accounts that are different to the users selected accounts.

I believe this is caused by select2 fetching the wrong name somehow. It is then merging the accounts in the transaction which on the backend creates a new account.

This can be seen in the general ledger
