Hello,

As another user my case is that I have one button for the three actions, open, stop and close, but also that usual users sometimes use traditional remotes (not HA). This means the covers (gates in my case) can move without HA being involved.
Home Assistant is not a complete stranger to what's happening as each gate has and door sensor.

So would it work ? Or do we need a call to a reset timer service each time the gate is closed ? So that HA and this integrations knows exactly gates position even if it's open using a traditional remote ?
