How to generate a blured image placeholder?

Hi, I am reading https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/learn-webpack-by-example-blurred-placeholder-images-4ad8b1751709/ and I think this a missing feature for this plugin.

It seems that this project accept plugin, which is good news, does anybody know how we can implement this?
