Problem in installing deepmd plugin with lammps

Hello,
I am trying to compile lammps with deepmd (plugin mode) but after folowing all the steps as given in the website https://docs.deepmodeling.com/projects/deepmd/en/master/install/install-lammps.html. my installation directory i.e deepmd_root/lib is not creating the libdeepmd_lmp.so file. and when I am trying to run the input file it says "Unrecognized pair style 'deepmd' (src/force.cpp:278)". Could you please help me out to solve this issue.
