Installation.md update deployer global installation with composer

What if we want to install deployer/deployer globally with composer and use? Did add it that way with

 ~/.composer  composer require  deployer/deployer dev-master

so now have

cat ~/.composer/composer.json
{
    "require": {
        "laravel/valet": "^2.0",
        "laravel/installer": "^4.2",
        "deployer/deployer": "dev-master"
    }
}

and I removed the older v6 from /usr/local/bin but now the newly globally added one does not work. What is the way to do so?

P.S. Could not find that in https://deployer.org/docs/7.x/installation#globally

I may need to add

# If you come from bash you might have to change your $PATH.
# export PATH=$HOME/bin:/usr/local/bin:$PATH
export PATH="$PATH:$HOME/.composer/vendor/bin"

to my ~.zshrc file like I did on my other box.
