Output commit hash being deployed?

I'm outputting the branch I'm deploying, as a visual check that I am deploying the right one, but I'd like to output the commit hash that's being deployed too.

Is there a way to get hold of this inside my Deployer script? I'm unclear if Deployer knows the commit hash, or only the branch.

Run deploy with -v flag.
