The stdout of my build command contains a lot of linebreaks that appear out of nowhere.
I'm not sure where they come from; I don't think they're purely misinterpreted ANSI codes.

This was observed on a private repository, but I can reproduce the problem in public if this helps debugging.
I can also debug this myself, but I would like to know if anyone has a suggestion as to the reason.
