Full waveform inversion using Schism

This is a very nice open source work! May I implement the full waveform inversion of Schism based on Devito, like implementing the backward ?

There is nothing stopping you from using Schism as part of an FWI code, although it is worth being aware of two things:

• Support for this repository has been discontinued with dependencies fixed at the last known working versions; you may maintain your own fork however (which must also be open-source).
• Schism is a research code developed to explore the possibility of constructing high-level abstractions for immersed boundary implementation. As such, whilst usability is straightforward, performance is substantially reduced versus base Devito (although this should nominally be sufficient for 2D research work).
