Your welcome, thanks. S905X != S905X4 ? For multimedia usage use CoreElec, they use vendor kernels and do support all video/audio stuff. My images won't. |

Hello! First of all I'd like to congratulate and tell how grateful I am for your work.
I have a Tanix T4 and I'm using it as a print server , ad removal DNS server and proxy server and it works great.
But I'd like to try some emulators as well. I saw on exceptions where it says "All S905X4 boxes: No sound."
But I came across this thread of Armbian on Google https://forum.armbian.com/topic/32441-no-audio-on-s905x-tv-box-because-device-tree-doesnt-include-it/ where this guy said he got sound working on S905X.
I tried using his DTB , by putting it on the DTB directory and changing the .config file to point to it, but when I do that it won't boot.
I don't know if it would be possible to make sound work , if it would it would be great.
Anyway, thanks again and keep up your great work, I'm sure a lot of people around the world are using your version of Linux on old TV boxes like I am.
Cheers from Brazil!
