Content constantly being marked as Changed with no Updating

The behavior I expected to see was when a page is changed, a notification is sent, and then no notification is sent until the page changes again if that that makes sense?

e.g. polling every minute and there are two page states A and B

Time	Page State	Should Notify?
0	A	No
1	B	Yes
2	B	No
3	A	Yes

Is there an option for this?

that is how it works.. should be no notification until it changes again

And please be more specific (edit the title of those post)

are you saying , that when content does not change ;

• NOTIFICATIONS are being resent,
• Content is being marked as 'changed'
• both?
• either?

Also see 5fb9bbd I can prove that the first one (Notifications being sent) is not true.. i'll need your backup zip

@conor-f I think I see the issue.. so when something transitions to 'change detected', it should not keep the notifications pinging on every change until you click the [diff] tab and reset the status back to 'viewed' right?
