I can't get "ignore text" to work properly... even if it shows in grey, it's considering it a change

I have a page in which I want to exclude certain lines from the comparison (basically those lines are countdown timers)
I write a couple of Regex in the "ignore text" field
In the preview, those lines do show in grey, as if they're to be ignored
But in the diff, they do show as changes. And also generate alerts.

What am I doing wrong?

I think what I did wrong is that I didn't wait long enough... it seems it needs two cycles to settle.
Meanwhile... is it possible to remove just some text, not the whole line?
e.g. in the case of this one... line says "16-Oct-2024 16:00 (GMT -4.00) Expires within 4 days" ; I'd like to capture if the date changes, but remove the "Expires within 4 days" because that'll trigger daily.

NOPE, wrong... it is still triggering changes... basically the "ignore lines containing" applies to the preview (where those lines are being shown in grey), but is not actually working, it's still sending alert on those lines and showing them on the diff.

nope, still same - don't know what it is, the "ignore" filters just don't work.
In the past version 0.46.04, the snapshot showed the lines in grey (as if "this will be ignored") but it didn't ignore them.
(see the screenshots on my previous post)

In the current version 0.50.14, the same filters are not shown in grey anymore in the snapshot, so at least that's consistent, but now the question would be why don't the expressions match the lines? they matched before...

ignore text 100% works but the problem is

• it wont show it with a grey background
• it still includes that text in the output, it's only that "ignore" means that the text is not considered for changedetection
• there is a bug in 'preview' and 'diff' that those highlights are not shown

Really it'd seem to me it's not ignoring the text as it should.
e.g. as per my screenshot above, I've configured to ignore lines that contain "Expiring within" and lines that contain "Displaying results". Also, I have it set to ignore deletions, only changes and additions.
And in the previous version, it indeed showed the lines in gray, which in the current one doesn't... but the issue is not that, is that for example today I received a change alert, and as it can be seen in the screenshot, it very much contains the lines that were supposed to be ignored...
