it really depends on how you run it, theres no other reports of this, however it can happen if you run multiple installs at the same time, the disk was full (most likely) when it tried to save, etc etc |

There's not enough information here, nothing about how many you usually have, what operating system, memory size, disk size, load average, platform (windows? amiga? linux?) |

Yes, sorry, I meant url-watches-before-20.json. Did not run multiple installs. The disk for sure was not full. One user (me), Debian GNU/Linux, Change Detection running with Docker. 4GB Ram, 2GB free. Load average really low. 80G, 40G free. |

sounds pretty reasonable, it never actually deletes the JSON file, it first saves to a .tmp file, then checks if that .tmp is correct, then renames the .tmp to the JSON So it means that this problem is usually related to how you're running the container or something in the environment |

This has been happening to me as well. I've discovered it happens when there is a new image is used which automatically happens because I am running watchtower. All of my watches where wiped out today when the container updated with the new image. my log from today: You can see the extra url-watches-before files crated after the upgrade: |

All my watches have suddenly dissapeared as well which is strange! Single instance - never had any problems previously. Going to try and roll back and restore from backup. Seeing these erorrs in the logs -

Thanks @dgtlmoon . Fix for me was to stop the container. Restore the conf directory from backup. Restart container using .42

I also opened ChangeDetection this morning and noticed that all my watches are gone. I tried restoring a previous backup, but when I restart the container, the watches are replaced with the two default ones.

My watches also disappeared. Seems to be wide spread kind of. Has this been addressed or reverting to .42 the only option? |

All of my watches were gone at some point (just opening the app, no actions).
