It would be very useful to be able to configure the notification body through the API. This way we can fully automate our deployment. Otherwise we have to manually configure it using the web form.

• A new API endpoint to configure the system wide notification body.

When you click on the button "Show token/placeholders" of the Notifications section, you get a fairly extensive list of placeholders/variables which can be used. Are you suggesting that there are (or should be) additional ones?

Ah! It wasn't so obvious but indeed the list of placeholders is there. I have updated the original ticket so it only requests the ability to update the system wide notification body.

You could do a put/post on a tag/group to update notification_body ?
