Support for integration with taxonomies

Got really excited to see a fresh project aiming to assist with generation of bibliographies for hugo.

disclaimer: myself I am yet to jump on hugo bandwagon so please pardon if something sounds too newbie!

FWIW -- what I would like to achieve is a replacement for bib to look like http://haxbylab-old.dartmouth.edu/publications.html http://haxbylab-old.centerforopenneuroscience.org/publications.html where people known to the website gain the URLs to their pages. E.g. to add support for site like our https://project.datalad.org/ where we have pages like https://project.datalad.org/maintainers/yarikoptic/index.html from the taxonomies generated from the website pages like https://hub.datalad.org/www/project.d.o/raw/branch/main/content/maintainers/yarikoptic/_index.md

If I understand correctly, you would like hugo-bibliography to be able to automatically generate bibliographies of every publication that a particular author was a part of. More generally speaking, you would like hugo-bibliography to generate subsets of a bibliography given a certain taxonomy. Do I have that correct?

oh hoh! THANK YOU @TatsatJha for trying ... and you are the one who alerted me, which means others (where I posted similarly) -- didn't even bother looking... will keep that in mind during "performance evaluations" ;)

I had that domain just bound to that IP in my local /etc/hosts... now I have it properly bound at DNS level for http://haxbylab-old.centerforopenneuroscience.org/publications.html -- please check out that one (I will fix up also in the original post). The one you found has nothing of what I wanted to show ;)

Hey Yaroslav, the new link works. Did I understand your original taxonomy premise correctly?

I think that you got it right "in the end goal" - to have per person (for some, known to website, not all possible coauthors) bibliography!
But I thought that we could actually avoid doing "generate subsets" if we use taxonomies where each publication gets its record with authors (and potentially extra dimensions we might assign somehow, like "projects"), so then we could rely on Hugo taxonomies etc to produce desired "subsets" for an author it a project.

Hey Yaroslav, I think we can implement this with a slight change to the current filtering feature. Right now there's an option to only display citations that have a certain key-value pair in the CSL-JSON. I think if we have it so the filtering looks for a keyword anywhere in the CSL-JSON, then you should be able to pass a taxonomy. That way if you pass something like Yaroslav, it will render all of the citations where Yaroslav is included as an author
