How are creation vs modification events from REDCap differenciated?

How do we know that a record was created and an order needs to be initiated rather than a record being modified?

Yes, we talked on Monday. I think we have all we need here. Only issue that might arise is if a record is being modified multiple times at the same time (but this might be less of a concern).
