Per the thread at http://forum.dlang.org/thread/me1rac$1n8v$1@digitalmars.com, we should add dlang.org/rpm and dlang.org/debian with stable and unstable packages available for installation.

Well, now that the DMD backend is Boost licensed too, there is nothing stopping distros to ship DMD, but somehow they haven't done so.
Sociomantic plans to move d-apt to GitHub + Bintray:

So maybe efforts for Ubuntu/Debian should focus on/collaborate with this.
