Wiimote pairs but won't get recognized by Dolphin

The Wiimote pairs fine using WiimotePair and it shows up in My Devices in system settings but the Wiimote continues to blink until it disconnects. I have dolphin open with continuous scanning enabled.

In the screenshot the Wiimote shows up as "Gamepad" but sometimes it shows up with its name "RVL-CNT-01-TR", the MAC address is the same

I am using Dolphin 2409 on MacOS 15.1 (24B83) on a M1 2021 iMac, the Wiimote has Wiimotion plus built-in

Same exact issue here. MacOS 15.0 on an M2 MBP, also with Wiimotion plus built-in. I've tried two different Wiimotes.

same exact issue with macbook pro m1 and wii remote with motion plus "RVL-CNT-01-TR". did anybody find a solution ?

For me, using the disconnect button in settings and reconnecting fixed the issue 🙂
