Help to debug iOS

Does anyone have 'start to finish' instructions on how I can debug a Maui app on an iPhone from VS running on my PC?

I mean instructions that actually work - not the ones Microsoft publish which are completely useless.

I have on numerous occasions tried following the 2000+ steps to make this happen but it seems whatever I do there is always some kind of problem.
