Android 16, iOS 26 Support

When can we expect support for Android 16 and iOS 26?

Android 16 is pretty much supported already. iOS 26 dunno - I would hope soon given Beta2 was released 24/6

@nodoid Is this mentioned somewhere? I did not find it in the release notes and neither in a ticket.

A distinction must be made between "the app runs without problems with the OS version" and "MAUI sets the SDK as the target."
Current apps should largely work without problems with Android 16 and iOS 26.
MAUI itself typically targets the new SDKs with .net10.

Thanks @baaaaif yes I am talking about target sdk. Where do you get this information from? I do not see this covered by the support policy https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/platform/support/policy/maui
