How to set openvpn try to reconnect to the openvpn server if the client disconnected from the server due to internet interruption?

This one happens to me too.

The same to me. The Error was Connection Timeout because the VPN-Tunnel already exists with no internet connection.
Deleting the route (in my case eth0 via tun0) works with ip route del.
But this is no option to use openvpn for a persistent VPN-client in background. You have to delete the routes after some hours every time!
