ESPHome and DEV branch related question

Not an issue, but does the latest DEV branch still compile in ESPHome?
Need to get Breeze functionality working on a Midea unit and saw that the dev branch seems to have everything included?

Tried compiling v2-dev against latest ESPHome dev and it doesn't really compile.
Using v1.1.9 works fine.
