In the IDE I see that SDK product still configures wrong update sites (from previous release):

<repository location="https://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/4.34" name="The Eclipse Project Updates" enabled="true" />
<repository location="https://download.eclipse.org/releases/2024-12" name="2024-12" enabled="true" />

Is that something we can/should have in RC1 or can we fix that for RC2?
I believe this was missed in #2569

@iloveeclipse Please provide and merge a PR and let's merge this one for RC1. It's best to have it now in case there is something else surprising so we have broader testing.

Created PR #2829

Fun fact: I was trying to remove configured update sites via p2.inf for our product and while doing that I've stumbled over the outdated SDK product file.

Good catch, thank you.
@MohananRahul is this something that is missing from the release-instructions? For the 4.34 cycle this was added via #2285, but in #2566 this was not done.

It seems that the .product file was missing from the workflow, so we manually updated it. However, with this PR, it will now be updated.
