If it was 5.11.5 I would have said yes for sure. As it's minor version we have to look at the changelog to decide.
From https://junit.org/junit5/docs/5.12.0/release-notes/index.html :

• Output written to System.out and System.err from non-test threads is now attributed to the most recent test or container that was started or has written output.
  This has the potential to break tests that "expect output" content without anything to be done from our side other than "fixing tests" to not print needlessly and we have a good number of tests with "excessive" printing in both SWT and Platform UI. While this could be me being too cautions I prefer that than suddenly seeing many failing tests during RC2 week.
  My proposal is to wait for next stream opening for the sake of being on the safe side now. If others want to have it in now and there will be coordinated effort into monitoring and filtering problems (if they arise) I am fine with this and will help with what I can.

Another one that might be of interest is junit-team/junit5#4238 - while this will not be an issue for I-build tests it can affect maven validation where things are paralel to speed things up.
