Hi @Superuser18 - it's funny you mention that because I have seen that the code base has that function in there. I was surprised to see it but i never seen it "working" as a user so I am not sure if it was ever finished.

I was actually considering removing it altogether but let me see if I can figure out what is missing. I am assuming you are using the regular apk and not the degoogled version?

A question for everyone whether they are experiencing skipping while playing from Navidrome, I dont know if its Tempus or the recent update to Navidrome?!

If you still have issues, let me know because I'd like to get you a test APK for you to test to see if it addresses your issue. I may not get this into the release until we can have some confidence this was the issue and the pr actually fixes it.

@Superuser18 so I'm not sure why so i'm gonna leave this PR open for a bit, if you experience an issue, try to include as much detail as possible. I know for me, at first I thought, it was something I was doing eg I had been messing with the settings a buch, transcoding, testing out different stuff and thought perhaps I got myself into a bad state.
