I would like to help with the translation into Slovak. But isn't it better to use AI or Google Translator for translation?
I use Google Translator for translations myself.

I've manually translated to portuguese, because I needed to insert the translation tags everywhere in the code. This was the hardest part. I've spent about a week updating the templates and the backend. After translating to portuguese, I used GPT for dutch, french and spanish, but before starting the translation, I've sent the portuguese translation and asked for gpt to use this translation as source of context for the translations.

Then I started translating to other languages. I may be wrong, but I believe that using another language as a context may have improved the quality of the translation. Actually, I have no way of telling if those translations are good or not. I'm still waiting for feedback :D

You can use google translator if you wish, just make sure that it doesn't translate things that shouldn't be translated and review the end result.

Do you feel comfortable for forking the project and running django locally?

I assumed a simpler translation.
I get a file with English words and just translate it, e.g.

VPN Invite - VPN pozvánka
Server Settings - Nastavenie servera

etc ...
