emoji-custom-strings.txt not working

Describe the bug
As you suggested in this issue #23 (comment) i created a emoji-custom-strings.txt with every emoji translated to a different language (german). But the emoji aliases aren't showing up in EFCK. I am not sure what is going wrong here.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Put the attached emoji-custom-strings.txt into ~/.config/efck-chat-keyboard/
2. Open up EFCK
3. Search for an emoji (for example: Kobold)
4. See that Kobold aka 👺 isn't showing up.

Expected behavior
Every alias defined in emoji-custom-strings.txt should show up in EFCK.

This is odd and it works for me!

Is the program being run inside some sandbox or are home config files available? See what files are being touched e.g. with:

colorstrace -fe openat -- python -m efck --debug

I should make a note to add even more verbose --debug logging.
