Jumps to top of list after clicking item

When there is a large list (which needs scrolling) and I scroll down to (un)select an item, after I click on it, I get shown/scrolled to top of list. This is since I updated to lastest stable (v2.0.2) and same behaviour in current v3 pre-release.

I would expect to keep current viewport as it was in (eg) v1.13, which is the release I used before.

I also upgraded jquery-ui from v1.11 to v1.12 when this matters.
