Describe the bug

On page https://bookish-dollop-9p66716.pages.github.io/ingest-enriching-data.html if you click on the SVGs in the page the preview shows with it in the top left corner.

Image

If you look at one of the PNGs on https://bookish-dollop-9p66716.pages.github.io/common-log-format-example.html, the PNG is centered in the preview.

Image

Expected behavior

I would expect all images to open in the same fashion.

Steps to reproduce

Navigate to https://bookish-dollop-9p66716.pages.github.io/ingest-enriching-data.html and click any of the SVGs

Tooling

  • docs-builder
  • migration tooling
  • I'm not sure

Unfortunately there's not much we can do here. This is just how Chrome displays SVG files vs JPG/PNG files. For example, files from elsewhere on the web:

However, the experience of opening the image over the content you're viewing is not ideal and should be fixed. Opened #329
