The Restore Status tab will fail to show results when only system indices were restored. The supporting query needs use the expand_wildcards option.

Waiting for the completion of -
elastic/elasticsearch#131490
elastic/elasticsearch-specification#4954

...and the ES client in Kibana will need to be updated.
