When one looks carefuly at Hourly Electricity Mix graphs in different jurisdictions, there is an apparent trend: Wind power reduces, whenever solar comes up. This is currently well visible for example in Alberta Canada [Germany](https://app.electricitymaps.com/zone/DE/72h/hourly/2025-06-13T09:00:00.000Z#electricity_mix_chart) and California. None of these jurisdictions publically acknowledge that they would activaly curtail wind to allow solar to run.
There is some natural inverse corelation between sun and wind speed, but it is not as strong as what the data seems to suggest. Are we sure we have these graphs correct?
