shelstyle adium theme not 100% compatible (?)

hello i am using emesene 2.12.3 and this conversation theme

I like it because it is simple and minimal , but i have some issues :

my nickname in the conversation appears too small and at the right is a symbol wich i do not know what it is
I attach a screenshot in order to understand what i mean :

i see it says it requires a certain font, maybe that's the culprit?

I don't know, i just read in the page you linked:

I also like the Roboto font, made by Google for use in their Ice Cream Sandwich build of Android, and this style was designed to be used with that font. You can get it here, or you can substitute your own font, I don't care.

maybe if you don't have that font it doesn't work good, but i didn't investigate the theme
