Steam Deck needs better installation guide

Followed the procedure.
Got the game, extracted the tweaks, added to Steam, even got the FLAC music, but after all of that, all I keep getting is a white square whenever I start the game up.

Starting it in Desktop mode instead has a better chance of succeeding. Tried opening the Config.exe, and I keep getting a "Out of Memory" error.

Can anyone help me out?

UPDATE!

New Steam Deck Version needs "WINEDLLOVERRIDES="d3d9=n,b" %command%" instead of "WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b" %command%"

But before that, you need to copy the d3d9.dll from the x32 folder in the latest DXVK.

Thanks for testing and finding a fix. There aren't many steam deck users lurking in the discord so I couldn't find anyone to ask.

Is it working for you so far?

The White Freeze doen't come back?

Does tweaks actually load in with that though? afaik removing/changing the dinput8=n,b would stop us from being loaded in, it might have changed in newer proton though.
Do you know if the music switcher or anything is still working?

Yes, yes and yes.

Though I think it has something to do with the SingleCoreAffinity option after I saw that it was true by default.

YES, THAT WAS THE FIX!

SingleCoreAffinity was set to true by default.

This is only handy for non-AMD CPUs, of which the Deck is all but.

Setting it to false gets rid of the freezes entirely!
