Change auxiliary heater mode on heat pump

I own a WPLS 8.2 heat pump hybrid system (hp + gas burner).
I have tried to intercept the datagrams when changing the auxiliary heater setting, and i've got this (from front panel id 10 to pdc id 8):

I've highlighted what seem to me the byte of the datagram relevant to the setting. I think that the last digit change as it'a a CRC.

Forgot to say, actually, if i change the manual defrost mode from ems esp, it change this setting. So seem connected to the issue #1725

Maybe that´s interesting for @MichaelDvP : In the program code you have named telegram 0x0491 offset 0 manDefrost. From the trace above it can be seen that it is the auxHeaterSource, that can be selected.
Looking at the side effect on the manual defrost, it might have been the reason to choose the telegram name manDefrost.
For the next traces I would like to ask @masterx1981 to use watch on and not watch raw. Then it´s much easier to read.

So this has to be named auxHeaterSource as enum with options 0-not installed, 1- unknown, 2-exclusive, 3-parallel, 4-hybrid

I don't have a heatpump and don't know what this options do, difficult to choose the right names.
I can implement if someone tells the names and translations.

Sorry for have used "watch raw" but seemed to me a bit easier to read and identify the correct packets on a busy bus. Next time i'll use "watch on"
For the function names, in my italian language hmc310 controller:
The function name is "Selez. prod. calore supp", can be translated in "Auxiliary heater mode"
The 0 setting is named "Non installato" and can be translated in "Not installed", the controller never turn on the second heat source, only the hp.
The 2 setting is named "Risc.supp. con misc. esclusivo" and can be translated in "Auxiliary heater in exclusive mode" in this mode run only one heat source at time, they never co-generate heat.
The 3 setting is named "Risc.supp. con misc. In parallelo" and can be translated in "Auxiliary heater in parallel mode", in this mode the two heat sources can cooperate in some conditions.
The 4 setting is named "Ibrido" and can be translated in "Hybrid", in this mode the heat sources can cooperate in a "smart" way, there is a setting with the cost ratio between gas and electricity, and the controller choose if use one of the heat sources in exclusive way, or eventually both in parallel (if it's more convenient)
All this modes have some other settings, most of them are already mapped in ems-esp.
When i have some spare time i can check what is missing and map it.

In the heat pump menu there isn't any voice between "Not installed" and "Auxiliary heater in exclusive mode" (between byte "0" and byte "2" - i suppose the byte "1"), so i can't say what the heat pump can do. Maybe can be easy as inserting a voice "Not implemented"?

Eventually this evening i car try to add the custon entity and see what the heat pump do.

My setup is only a gas heater, the pdc enable the use of the gas burner via an on-off realy, but the output can be configured also for a pwm output.
I not know what setting i have to play with for have the "1" option available.

I've found in the HMC 310 manual what is the "1" mode. In italian is called "Risc.elettrico supp. in serie", that can be translated in "Auxiliary electric heater in series mode", as suggested by @Sbried
I not know why i not have it available on my setup
