Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When a new version is released, or when it's time to do an OS upgrade, it is manually intensive to research and locate compatible software product versions required for the upgrade. The compatibility matrix would be one column containing OS types and minimal version: i.e. RHEL 9.0, Windows 11, etc..
Describe the solution you'd like
For each cycle/software version, provide the minimal OS version required if it is dependent on the OS. If a product is not dependent on an OS version, list host/container minimal version (i.e. node.js or nom version for products like react)
Describe alternatives you've considered
Only alternatives is brute from with install packages when actually performing the upgrades. But for large corporations that have standards on specific versions of software products allowed, it's not useful. It's manually intensive to list all software products an application uses, then, based on OS version chosen, identify compatible versions that match standards.
Additional context
By providing the minimal OS levels, you can filter search for all products compatible with OS version X - e.g. find all product versions for RHEL 9
