The current behavior for dashboard CRUD is as follows:

  • For the given dashboards that match the filter defined. Delete every entity.
  • For each Dashboard upload a new Dashboard which gets you a new ID assigned.

Revisit the logic that would allow to maintain the IDs. a true git diff of no changes may never be feasible, but if the additional complexity is not a deterrent, it might be a nice improvement.
