I have a question why my CoreGeth 1.12.2-unstable does not update more than 8,897,987 in rinkeby? My question is is it waiting for an update?

Hello @zrock23. Can you try using this branch https://github.com/etclabscore/core-geth/tree/merge/foundation-release%2F1.10.8 ?

It seems that you can't sync over rinkeby fork number 8_897_988 for London, as it can be seen here.

As said in the previous message, we are working on this on another branch and it will be soon merged into master. We just running some more tests. Feel free to test that branch already @zrock23.
