Sort of true, and something we could discuss. My starting position is that it's not so important that it's worth breaking the existing solutions (35 students on Julia, a LOT more for the same exercise on the Python track).

The implementation in exemplar.jl can be broadcast with the dot notation to accept multiple drinks, so I don't know if it is technically necessary to make a change for the Julia case here.
