SOA Serial

Are you sure your pdns server settings are correct?

The following code:

$domain = 'mytest.com';
$powerdns = new Powerdns('127.0.0.1', 'MYAPIKEY');
$zone = $powerdns->zone($domain);
$zone->create('test', RecordType::A, '127.0.0.1', 300);

successfully adds 'test' record to the zone but does not change serial.

What powerdns version are u using and what is you SOA-EDIT value? https://doc.powerdns.com/authoritative/settings.html#default-soa-edit

pdns 4.1.14
default-soa-edit is as it is by default: empty

And what does your SOA record look like?

That seems valid, however I'm pretty sure this has something to do with your pdns config.

The package doesn't touch the SOA as this depends on the settings used in pdns (pdns is responsible for updating the SOA, not the php package).

What does $zone->getSoaEditApi() and $zone->getSoaEdit() return?

As i'm not very good in php could you provide an example of the code that will show the results of $zone->getSoaEditApi() and $zone->getSoaEdit() ?
I'm getting 'Call to undefined method Exonet\Powerdns\Zone::getSoaEditApi()' error.
