This has been discussed before in #319, but has never had a tracking bug so, I am making one now.

To align slightly more with basic regulations, we should make all users aware that they are accepting our terms of service. IMO, implementing the following 3 features would satisfy that goal:

  • Add a footer to all/most pages that links to the TOS.
  • In the signup form, add an "I have read and agree to the TOS" checkbox.
  • If we update the TOS, we need a mechanism to let users know that it has been updated.
